Malaysian politicians non-stop fighting for power even in the midst of serious covid-19 pandemic that cause them make less or no effort to help Rakyat in needs. Seizure of power by politicians and the military because of greed for power and money sometimes can cause bloodshed like recently happened in Myanmar and Haiti president’s assassination.
Nilai-nilai & Kepercayaan
Political career should be a serving people job as one of government agency where salary lower than private sector but meaningful work as school teacher. Political career is not an investment like spend 100k or 1 million on election, after winning then get back their investment by profit 10 times or 100 times. No other way than corruption and abuse of power if want to get back their profit from election investment. Rich politicians definitely will become richer but middle class and poor people will become poorer by increased of toll and utility fees. Why 99% of middle class and poor Rakyat voted for less than 1% rich politicians but cannot Rakyat voted for Rakyat to serve Rakyat? Especially during covid-19 pandemic rich politicians get 300k fund for helping the needy but how many percentage of that fund actually reach to them who struggling for jobs and food as many politicians printed their names and parties logo in the goodies bags that may cost a lot, no need to say human nature, some put into their own political fund. Can Malaysia be a leading in reform of new political system than a follower of other countries political system? Malaysia is a unique country champion of corruption where a reporter of corruption get jailed but corrupted person get free that has become our culture example cows and condos scandal.
Penyelesaian:
Putting all MPs and Aduns as government servants where they get basic salary, no early retirement pension and no special fund or extra thing benefited them like AP to import car. No minister post and political appointment by abused of power, all government servants should be appointed based on meritocracy to ensure that no incapable and incompetent minister like now failed to handle covid-19 pandemic. People who want to get rich fast will not interested in political career because they will not get rich. Less or no fighting in political career definitely the world will have more peace.
