Isu dan Polisi Semasa:
Low income Malaysians still suffer to put food on the table for their families. High prices of fruits and vegetables cause some poor family cannot afford to eat good and healthy food. Malaysia only able to produce 70% of own food but 30% of food are imported that will be a threat to our national food security. When pandemic covid-19 started last year Vietnam stop exporting of rice cause Malaysia panic and struggle look for other countries supplier. Worry of world war 3 happened where most countries will keep food for themselves and stop export it then some Malaysians will starving to die.
Nilai-nilai & Kepercayaan
Fruit and vegetable plant by own farm definitely fresh and healthy to eat because without much chemical. Working in the farm on weekend or everyday also can bring the good health of Rakyat. Health of the Rakyat is the prosperity of the country and will not burden the medical budget of the country. Food is one of the most essential needs for people and national security protection.
Penyelesaian:
All Malaysians are to be given for free 50 years of land leasing for plantation to increase Rakyat’s income and create national food security to prepare for disaster. Malaysia still has many empty and fertile lands, example just after eating papaya and simply throw the seed into the soil also can grow. Government should open land for Rakyat and provides the basis need of the land like water so that Rakyat will not hesitate start to farm their plantation.
