Social protection net aims to ensure basic needs of citizens fulfilled, including access to health facility, education, workplace and basic income security, preventing from poverty line. Social insurance policy and job market policy need to be improved together social protection net. Comparing to countries like Singapore, Japan and Turkey, Malaysia only spend 3.8% for social protection. Up until today, Malaysia has more than 60 social protection programs handled by different ministries which might leads to miscoordination in providing assistance. Suprisingly, poverty line increasing year by year.

Penyelesaian:
Offering Universal Basic Income in form of cash,without conditions, to eligible individual occasionally and universal. This can reduce management cost, improve value comparing to giving out food basket and reducing error by inclusion and exclusion criteria.
