Problem Statement and Current Policy:

Human rights education is the only systematic way to prevent acts of tortures or violence committed by enforcement officers.

Value(s) and Belief:

No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. (Article 5 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948)

Proposal of Solution and Call for Action:

To implement human rights education from primary level to the tertiary level. An advisory committee on human rights education must be set up to determine the roadmap and syllabus on implementation of human rights education
