Jawatankuasa ini telah terhenti sejak Perikatan Nasional (PN) memerintah walaupun kerja-kerja untuk menggubal akta ini telah lama dimulakan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nilai-nilai &amp; Kepercayaan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jaminan kesaksamaan gender seperti yang termaktub dalam Artikel 8 Perlembagaan Persekutuan tidak mencukupi untuk mencapai atau mewujudkan kesaksamaan de facto seperti yang disarankan oleh CEDAW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Penyelesaian:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menetapkan garis masa untuk memuktamadkan dan menggubal Akta Kesaksamaan Gender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sumber Rujukan:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JAG has been advocating for a GE act since 2009 The enactment of the GE law will help operationalise the equality guarantee in the Constitution.
