Problem Statement and Current Policy:

Gross women underrepresentation in Malaysian Politics results perpetual trap for our country’s racial and religious discourse. Currently, with exception of Penang, no state or federal government initiatives are found to strengthen women representation. However, quotas that is being explored doesn’t address the root causes of the issue
